How does your deodorant work?
Active ingredients are the core of a deodorant, their main function is to prolong the effectiveness and lifespan of our product. We use a variety of actives - witch hazel absorbs moisture, vegetable enzymes break down odour causing bacteria and antibacterial alcohol prolongs the efficacy of our deodorant.
How do you use a spray deodorant?
Apply 2-3 sprays evenly to a dry underarm as needed. Each bottle contains over 450 sprays, which means that you get a 100+ day supply.
Is there a detox phase with Active Humans?
This can range from person to person, but the majority of our customer transition smoothly. If this is your first time using a natural deodorant we recommend applying multiple times throughout the day. SOme people can take up to 2 weeks to transition to a natural product.
How to you detox your armpits naturally?
Your armpits will detox naturally when you stop using an sntiperspirant. Just switching to our aluminum free deodorant is a great first step. If you do feel like you need to do something to help remove built up bacteria in your armpits, our customers love to apply a bentonite clay pit mask. Then apply your deo to dry, clean armpits. Repeat every other week or whenever you need a reset!
Can I spray it elsewhere on my body?
Our deodorant is multi-functional. It works well as a body spray, perfume, room refresher and around your nether regions.

Our products are formulated with plant-based ingredients, always free from aluminium, parabens, phthalates, talc and sulfates. When available we source organic, raw material that are either plant or mineral based. We're always looking to improve our products, sourcing the best ingredients, researching new actives and benefit-rich essential oils. What does fragrance mean on your label?
Natural fragrances are essential oils and isolates derived from flowers, fruits, sap, seeds and skins of plants, as well as bark, resin. leaves, and roots. We hand crafted each scent, drawing inspiration from our west coast landscapes. For example, Sea Salt is reminiscent of our Vancouver Sea Wall runs and Rose Neroli brings memories of spring gardens and ripe Okanagan orchard hillsides.
How long will the deodorant last?
Our community has put our product to the test. You can expect up to 12 hours of protection, which is 20% longer than other natural deodorants.
Is it made for people with sensitive skin?
Yes, our ingredients like chamomile and witch hazel have skin soothng properties. If you are hyper sensitive consider using our unscented deodorant, which has a higher concentration of active ingredients.
Can your deodorant expire?
All of our products arefree of parabens (a chemical preservative used in cosmetics and personal care). We recommend using deodorants within 12 months of receiving.
